SINGLE MOMS CLUB
The Single Moms Club was founded in Soweto Slum, Nairobi. SMC is a safe space for vulnerable single mothers under the age of 25. The club teaches sexual health education, family planning to prevent future unplanned pregnancies, provides counselling when required, assists with CV creation and interview training, and provides skills training and access to income generation projects with the overall goal of assisting these young mothers in becoming self sufficient.
The Single Moms Club currently provides support and guidance to 20+ vulnerable single mothers. The Single Moms Club Salon, the first income generation project for the group, is set to launch in December 2017.
ZLT provides a loving family and holistic care to 27 beautiful children in Nairobi, Kenya. The She Matters Campaign launched on September 28th, 2017. The campaign educates the global community about the prevalence of sexual violence, and create a safe space for survivors to share their stories on a multi-media online platform. The overall goal of the campaign is to stand in unity with survivors of sexual violence and remind them they are not alone.
